It's a boy!

William Kerry arrived on Tuesday 5/19/09 at 5:56pm!

Bit of a surprise that Tuesday morning as I was up for one of my many bathroom breaks walking back to the bed and thought 'I made it through another night.' Got back into bed and was making myself comfortable when... WHOA! I jumped back out of bed because... that's right folks, my water broke at 5:45AM! And I am good --- not any of it on the bed. Since my water broke the Dr. told me to go to the hospital --- I didn't rush since I wasn't having any contractions yet. Got to the hospital about 8:30ish, active labor started about noonish, pushed Kerry out shortly before 6pm... with Tom by my side and the 2 moms in the room. It was so amazing to hear the Dr. say "It's a boy" and place my son on my chest... there was not a dry in the room. Well, maybe the Dr.=0) Kerry weighed in at 7'10 and 20 inches long.

For those of you who don't know Kerry is named after his Grandpa's! We love you! XOXO

  1. WOW AnnMarie! He's SOOOO beautiful!

(I must say, I had a feel this past week that you'd had your baby, because there'd been no new posts and I thought, "hmmm... she must have a little someone occupying her time!")

Cherish every moment. I know everyone says that, but it is so true. Even when he's crying and wants to be held all the time, cherish that being with you is all he wants in the world.

I'm so happy for you guys! CONGRATS!!!

  2. AnnMarie & Tom,

Congradulations on your beautiful son! This is so cool having a whole new round of babies in the family. I wish you lived close by so we could see you at all the family get togethers and watch Kerry grow. Guess we'll have to rely on photos for now and hope it won't be too long before we get to see the newest member of the family in person.

This is whe life gets good. You days may get hetic but your heart will be overflowing with joy. There's not a thing in this world more fun or funnier than little kids. There's times when I wish I could go back in time and spend a days with the boys when they were little. Those were the good ol days and yours are just beginning!

    All our love,
Lenore, Gary, Trevor, Spencer & Oliver

    BOYS RULE!
